Flights to Shanghai
SHANGHAI PUDONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PVG)
Airlines
A major aviation hub for Asia, PVG serves China Eastern, Shanghai and Air China Airlines. The city’s other major airport, Hongqiao, mainly serves domestic flights. PVG has two terminals, with Terminal 2 serving more than 30 airlines and acting as the main entry point for those coming in from overseas.
Shopping & Restaurants
Although you are likely to experience shopping overload in Shanghai, why not ease into the retail fever by checking out some of the luxury shops found in Terminal 2? Prada, Shanghai Tang and Anna Sui are just a few of the designers you can find. Food is also abundant, but mostly caters to those in a hurry. Yes, we are talking Burger King.
WiFi & Gaming
PVG is known for having spotty WiFi (at best). Check with your gate attendant upon arrival to find out the best way to get online.
Currency Exchange
There are currency exchange centers in both terminals, but most travelers suggest just using a credit card for purchase or your ATM to get currency.
