JNB is the busiest airport in Africa and the hub of South Africa’s largest carrier, South African Airways. There are three areas housing its six terminals: International (Terminals A1 and A2), Domestic, and Transit. When the World Cup came to South Africa in 2010, the airport got a major and modern renovation.
Shopping & Restaurants
The Johannesburg airport has all the options you’d expect in a world-class destination. For shopping, head to Lacoste, The Body Shop, and Ntinga. Need a bite? Try Ekaya for traditional South African cuisine and Keg & Aviator for pub grub.

WiFi
JNB has WiFi hotspots in both the domestic and international terminals. There are also internet cafés where a fixed connection is available.
Currency Exchange
There are currency exchange booths such as Bidvest Bank, Master Currency and Travelex located in the arrivals area of Terminal A.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation is located opposite the international arrivals terminal (Terminal A). Airport-approved taxis and shuttle services, including The Magic Bus, are plentiful. Hotel shuttles are available at the bus terminal behind the Airport Sun International hotel and run every 15 minutes.
