Business Class on United Airlines is called "United Business". Business class airfare is offered on all international flights and on a few select domestic flights including between New York and Los Angeles and between New York and San Francisco. The premium class available on all domestic flights is "United First", or United Airlines First Class.
Domestic business class on United Airlines features 26 leather lined recliner seats with individual portable media players, noise reducing headphones, power ports, reading lamps, full meals, chocolates, cocktails and an invitation to the carrier's Red Carpet Club.
United's international business class features seating called "United Business Suites". As of 2011, United is retrofitting its entire international fleet with this seating. All seats are fully flat (180 degrees recline) and measure 6 feet, 4 inches from head to toe. They alternate between forward and rear facing to maximize width around passenger's upper body area and also include a headrest and lumbar support. Each business class seat enjoys a 15 inch LCD personal television screen with Audio-Video-on-Demand (AVOD) as well as power ports, an iPod adapter, XM Satellite Radio, noise cancelling headphones and a large tray table.
